As a Shasta College student, Rashan was a member of the Knight’s football team from 2010–2012 and was later inducted into the Shasta College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.

After graduating from Shasta College with an Associate of Arts degree in 2013, Rashan attended Winston-Salem State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Rashan committed himself to serving at-risk youth and has experience in Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, at-risk youth advocacy, juvenile counseling, and student success coordination.  Rashan strives every day to help make the world a better place by providing support and love to his community.
