The third Rural ACEs Summit, Bridges to Belonging, will bring together experts, stakeholders, and community members from diverse backgrounds to share insights, discuss challenges, and collaboratively explore innovative solutions that address trauma and fortify resilience in rural communities. You won’t want to miss this intentional and impactful opportunity to connect with rural partners on the cutting edge of innovations to address and prevent trauma.
Keynote Speakers:
Steve Sawyer, LCSW is a highly experienced trainer of several unique therapeutic models including Brainspotting and HeartMath. In his session, Steve will take an emotional dive into the influence of human collective stress responses and key positive resilience factors, ending with a human compassion experience.
David Stroh is a best-selling author and system’s thinking expert. David will share best practices for incorporating systems thinking into actionable problem-solving for challenges faced in public health, education, child welfare, rural economic development, and more. David’s best-selling book Systems Thinking for Social Change: A Practical Guide to Solving Complex Problems, Avoiding Unintended Consequences, and Achieving Lasting Results, will be included with registration for the event. Attendees will receive a copy of the book on the day of the summit.
