Philanthropy CA is hosting a Grant Writing Regional Training at The McConnell Foundation on August 15. This is a free in-person grant writing training that brings together community-based organizations (CBOs), nonprofits, and Tribes in and around Redding to learn about pursuing grant funds to support your organization’s vision and values. An emphasis will be on building organizational capacity to address climate resilience initiatives.
If you know of any small to mid-sized CBOs, nonprofits, or Native American Tribes, please share the link with potentially interested organizations. Click this link to access the agenda and the registration form.
Each interested CBO can receive an in-person 90-minute grant support session as part of the program, including information on existing and upcoming grant opportunities.

Registration, coffee, and networking begins at 8:30 am; Program starts at 9 am.
The training is funded by California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services(Cal OES) to support community-based organizations (CBOs) and Tribes in accessing public and philanthropic resources for climate and disaster resilience but is open to any eligible organization seeking technical assistance for grant writing.
