Succession Planning & Leadership Transitions – A National Talent Network Webevent
November 9, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PST
North State Together is proud to be a designated Lumina Talent Hub. We work collaboratively to enhance educational options and boost economic development by re-engaging adults who have left the formal education system.
Many backbone organizations throughout the National Talent Network have gone through or are preparing to go through key leadership transitions. Others are facing high-levels of staff turnover and are eager to learn how other backbone organizations are providing development opportunities, growth, and otherwise engaging in staff retention strategies, especially in organizations that are relatively flat and don’t offer clear paths to upper management/leadership.
This month’s webevent will bring honest and open conversations to fellow practitioners from those that have tried, stumbled, failed, and/or succeeded in navigating leadership transition and succession planning. During the hour-long session, two partnerships will take 15 minutes to share their process, the results, and the lessons they learned going through transitions. Following these presentations, participants will break off into small breakouts where you can ask the presenters questions and generate some conversation. We will not be recording this session.
Guest presenters include: – Dr. Tom Lasley, Learn to Earn Dayton (Dayton Talent Hub) – Stacy Schweikhart, Learn to Earn Dayton (Dayton Talent Hub) – Dr. Janet Cunningham, Education to Employment Partners (Corpus Christi Talent Hub) – Jeffery West, Education to Employment Partners (Corpus Christi Talent Hub)
