CalKIDS
Research suggests having a college savings account can positively impact a child’s likelihood of attending college. College savings programs empower students and families by providing financial resources and a sense of expectation for higher education, ultimately increasing the likelihood of college enrollment and completion. North State Together collaborates with CalKIDS to increase awareness of higher education opportunities and the importance of saving for college. By promoting the benefits of higher education and the CalKIDS program, we can help inspire children and families in our region to pursue post-secondary education goals to increase their economic mobility.
