Dr. Leslie Daugherty is the Senior Director of Design Programs at the Lab, bringing 15 years of experience in higher education. She began her career in admissions, supporting rural students, and later focused on streamlining transfer pathways at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. At the Lab, she has led initiatives like Seamless Transfer Pathways, micro-pathways, and the BRIDGES Rural design project. Passionate about human-centered design, she advises institutions on learner-focused strategies. Leslie holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her daughters perform in musical theater productions across the St. Louis area.
