Arlene Miranda joined North State Together’s quickly growing team as its Coordinator in 2022. North State Together serves as a hub for collective impact to county-based cross-sector partnerships across 10 counties in California’s North State. Through the Regional K-16 Education Collaboratives Grant Program, North State Together has extended its reach to include networks in Butte, Glenn, Sierra, Plumas, and Lassen counties. The primary mission of North State Together is to support the Cradle-to-Career objectives of our county networks, with the goal of increasing the education and career attainment of our North State students.

Arlene brings to North State Together a resourceful, upbeat, and positive problem-solving approach to administrative support. She has a reputation for strategic innovation by translating program goals into project deliverables. Prior to joining the North State Together team, Arlene served as the Program Assistant for the nationally recognized Gateway to College program at Shasta College. As Program Assistant, she was a vital contributor to building a safe, healthy, empowering and engaging community for at-risk students from diverse backgrounds to successfully obtain a high school diploma and improve their lives and communities. As an administrative professional, Arlene brings to NST 10 years of experience promoting student success in higher education.

When she is not at work, Arlene is most likely adventuring with her wonderful husband of almost 35 years or enjoying visits with their adult children in the San Francisco Bay Area. She loves serving on her church’s worship team, women’s ministry board, and hosting bi-weekly home group meetings. Arlene’s favorite pastime is trying out new recipes to share with family and friends.
