Bethany Davis is a Program Coordinator for North State Together and is joined by a dynamic team that provides support to county-based collective impact networks. The primary mission of North State Together is to support the cradle-to-career objectives of our county partners, with the goal of increasing the education and career attainment of our North State students. Through the generous support of The McConnell Foundation, North State Together began as the backbone support for five county networks: Expect More Tehama, Reach Higher Shasta, Trinity Together: A Cradle to Career Partnership, Advancing Modoc Youth, and Cradle to Careers for Siskiyou. After receiving the Regional K-16 Education Collaboratives Grant in 2022, North State Together extended its reach to include county networks in Lassen, Glenn, Butte, Plumas, and Sierra counties.

Bethany is passionate about improving student outcomes from cradle-to-career, and has 10 years of experience serving students across almost all academic levels, including early childhood education as a preschool teacher, elementary and high school, and postsecondary education. Bethany’s experience in higher education began at Simpson University where she was a Financial Aid Technician. At Shasta College, Bethany has served in many areas, including Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, The Transfer Center, and as an Articulation Assistant. Prior to joining North State Together, Bethany served as Assistant Director of Gateway to College, supporting at-risk high school students in their credit recovery, social-emotional development, and postsecondary goals. Working for Gateway to College, the Transfer Center, and as an ad hoc for other departments, Bethany has become recognized as a dedicated and knowledgeable ally to students and colleagues.

Bethany’s personal experience overcoming barriers to pursue her education as a single parent has made her an advocate for the power of education to improve the trajectory of one’s life. Bethany has an AA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, a BA in Organizational Leadership, and an M.S. in Educational Counseling. She enjoys spending her free time with her kind, smart, and funny kids, as well as her amazing family and friends. Bethany also enjoys art, fishing, kayaking, gardening, and traveling.
