Celebrating Local Wins & Opportunities Across the North State
In our September 2025 edition of NSTogether, we highlight regional celebrations and forward-looking opportunities that strengthen education across the North State. Expect More Tehama is honored with a Deep Roots Award for its lasting community impact, and literacy takes center stage with a community screening and panel on addressing illiteracy. North State Together joined The McConnell Foundation, traveling the region to build excitement and recruit applicants for the Yosemite-based NatureBridge program, while community school leaders gathered to share practices and plan collaboration. We also spotlight new supports—CPUC-funded digital literacy trainings, an online EdD for Northern California educators, and Grants in Place funding for rural, place-based education—that together showcase the momentum and partnership driving our work.
