The UC Davis School of Medicine, Office of Student and Resident Diversity (OSRD) is excited to announce the Summer 2023 Health Equity Academy – Leaders for Tomorrow’s Healthcare, an in-person program on the Sacramento Health campus. Please share this learning opportunity with your high school students and networks.

OSRD hosts the Health Equity Academy program, 3 times a year, for historically excluded and socioeconomically disadvantaged high school students to experience exposure to medicine/healthcare.

The Health Equity Academy introduces students to various health professions, medical technology, and health systems. Students will meet essential healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and current medical students and learn how to become a future healthcare leader through collaborative projects and activities.
