Kate Gordon is the CEO of CA FWD, a statewide organization advancing a sustainable, inclusive economy across California. With over two decades of experience at the intersection of climate, energy policy, and equitable development, she served as Senior Advisor to U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, leading initiatives under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act. Gordon also held leadership roles in California state government, spearheading projects like the Community Economic Resilience Fund and the integrated California Climate Budget. A former director of the Risky Business Project, she holds a J.D. and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley.
